Interesting Lucy because it begs the question "sorry for what" - also I love the patina on the chest of drawers.

Maybe it means: "SORRY, already sold." The chest reminds me of why North Americans go to England to buy antiques.

I have a chest of drawers just like that, bought at auction. Love the whole 'story in a photo'.

Lovely piece of furniture. But the little sign begs for an answer to the question "Sorry for what?"

Great shot.

Love the color and patina of the wood. And the sign has me intrigued as well...

Hello Everyone.

Pieces of furniture like this chest of drawers which, once, everyone had - are becoming less common as houses get smaller.

The 'Sorry' notice - was given by an eight-year old to his mother three years ago and has stayed in place since - which is why it is faded somewhat.

Oh... how nice to keep the "sorry"-notice so many years. I remember writing things like that to my mother when I was a child, and I actually do think she kept some of it. It means a lot.

If only it wouldn't fade!
