Now Moved to 'Message in a Milk Bottle' - http://messageinamilkbottle.blogspot.co.uk
fantastic photo.
Thanks, Godena.Lucy
Interesting Lucy because it begs the question "sorry for what" - also I love the patina on the chest of drawers.
Maybe it means: "SORRY, already sold." The chest reminds me of why North Americans go to England to buy antiques.
I have a chest of drawers just like that, bought at auction. Love the whole 'story in a photo'.
Lovely piece of furniture. But the little sign begs for an answer to the question "Sorry for what?"Great shot.http://debbiefromga.wordpress.com/
Love the color and patina of the wood. And the sign has me intrigued as well...
Hello Everyone.Pieces of furniture like this chest of drawers which, once, everyone had - are becoming less common as houses get smaller. The 'Sorry' notice - was given by an eight-year old to his mother three years ago and has stayed in place since - which is why it is faded somewhat.Lucy
Oh... how nice to keep the "sorry"-notice so many years. I remember writing things like that to my mother when I was a child, and I actually do think she kept some of it. It means a lot.
If only it wouldn't fade!Lucy
