Hello Hermes and Luis.

This little snail is camouflaged better than may seem. Some of the seaweed in the clump has yellow pods which look very snail like.

Hello Pat and Faye. It's satisfying to be able to take a photo like the seaweed and snail. Although Pat resists the way I acknowledge chance (!) there was much in this . . . the season, the light, that the tide was out and that the snail happened to be grazing on this bit of weed when I went by.

I agree that chance does play into it. but the photographer has to be able to "see" the shot and then capture it! I've been following you for a long time and you are VERY talented...
