Hello Karen. There are lots of things in this small area that I'd like to photograph but they are out of reach - either locked away in the boatyard or I'd need to walk on water to get to them (like those huge rusty poles).
Glad you like the photo of the ramp by the boatyard slip-way (Looking East). I wasn't aware of the sky being anywhere near as threatening when I took the photograph - maybe I was concentrating too much on the startling white of the railings and the tantalising metal poles that I can't get to? Don't know. But the evening was greyer than it looks in the photo and it was soon to get dark. A few seconds of brightness came just when I needed them. The scene was planned (I went there specially) - but the sky was good fortune.
