Lucy, traveled from Oakville to London, Ontario two days ago - the banks of the highway where the snow had been made the most amazing patterns in the grass - no way we could stop, but the way the leaves your leaves are compacted in the mud brought back my missed image so clearly.

I think the worst that could happen is that one would skid.
But in this mud - I think one would go down half way up to one's knees.
I stood very precariously on its edge to take the photo!

Barbarapc - The patterns in snow on grass, especially when it is melting, can look as if on another planet, don't you think?
