I agree about the spikes on the Agave - I kept forgetting about them while I crawled around under the plant to take photos - and got stuck on them a couple of times as I backed away.

Glad you like PICTURES JUST PICTURES.

I have mixed feelings about this kind of Agave. They can get very tatty round here because of the salt winds from the sea, then they look very sad; sad giants. But when they are bright (and un-shredded!) they are dramatic.
