I like the blue theme of your recent pictures.

Hello James - it's not so much a theme as how the skies are turning at present!

(It'll be green leaves tomorrow.)

I like the slight refraction. Cold but very bright here and lovely skies. Won't be long before those Budls shoot high again.

Hello Hermes

If you mean those blobs in the sky - they were un-intended and I'm a bit alarmed by their presence!

We have a huge area of wild ones nearby - very impressive in flower.
Thanks for the comment on my last post. Googling "white flower worn by pixies" didn't help either :-)
Any chance of adding Name/Url to identity options for commenting?

Hello Easy Gardener.

Sorry about the commenting barricade. Spam has been a problem recently. Initially, I turned on the moderation but still let anyone leave a comment. Even so, I was having to delete rows of squares and I was worried in case they were some kind of code which could interfere with my computer. (Though some translated from Chinese into non-comments.)

There isn't an option for name/URL. The options are for anyone (including anonymous) blogger users only, 'members of the blog' only and the one I have - which allows Open IDs.

I'm really sorry about this. Well, I'm really cross I had to introduce it. Apologies none the less.

Never mind - it just means I have to sign out of my personal gmail account and into my easygardener alter ego before commenting. I can manage that!

Hello Easygardener.

Thanks - and I'd like to reiterate the apologies. Not allowing anonymous remarks has sorted it for the moment for me - I'm only sorry it has this knock on effect.

I love the tenacity of buddleia to survive in just about any kind of environment, with or without soil.

I'm a bit annoyed with Buddleia. Last year, I brushed a tiny amount of earth against the bottom of a wall and pressed in some Wallflower seeds. No Wallflowers - but I've just come in from cutting out four wild Buddleia plants which had taken the opportunity to move in.
