This was not only a very neat and original bench, but a very fine and delicately composed photo. I enjoyed it very much.

PS Thank you for the comment :-) I may unintentionally started the "Friday thing", but I was inspired by the sites of Malyss and Paulie that deals with benches.

Took it's time to load but well worth waiting for, cheers!

I really like this, I like the strong straight lines of the bench against the softer lines in the decking. I also like the luminescence of the metal against the wood. The control of contrast is bang on and the composition is great.. Well done, have a great weekend Gary

Hello Adrian.

Sorry the photo took a while to load but glad you liked the result.

I haven't changed anything on the page and the pictures have the same dimensions. I've been suspecting that Blogger (and Google in general) has been overloading itself recently and for some times during the day it can't quite cope.

Thanks Gary.

Of course, with something like this, one is grateful to the designer who made the bench in the first place.

On the other hand . . . when the summer comes and the sun beats down on it (it is completely unsheltered) it may turn out to be better to look at than to sit on.

An attractive design - though I wonder if the designer has sat on a metal bench in winter.
I think my glum thoughts may be the result of getting older!

Very nice. I really like the curves and composition.

Hello Easy Gardener.

I don't think much thought has gone into the point of benches round where I took this photo. Nearby, there was a single seat behind a wall and facing nothing but a wall.

In the over 600 benches I have on my two blogs about benches, I have never seen a curved metal one. That is truly super! I enjoyed seeing it. Thanks!

I am in WA state and I started my bench blog with daily benches over two years ago. Shortly after I started posting them, an internet friend, Dot, told me she was posting comments on a BENCH blog in France and she wanted to know if I would like the addy. It was to malyss' blog! The two of us bench lovers post daily benches and she is also on her second blog since she ran out of space on the first one too. I think Rune started his Friday bench post thing to get more traffic to our blogs to see our benches. Got a few people to notice. . . I do hope you will drop by and also visit malyss'bench blog also.

This bench I just feel wow as it is so different I have never seen a photo like it the composition of the boat is amazing as it gives a sense of area to sit on it if you get what I mean, well I am getting myself confused.
