I like brick paths especially if the bricks are recycled. A past life we know nothing about.

Hello Easygardener.

I walk past this path and gate a lot but have never see what is beyond. I have a horrible feeling that, whatever it is, it doesn't live up to the promise of its entrance and that it's history may, indeed, be more interesting than it's present but until I have reason ever to go through it myself . . . I won't know!

They aren't really edging plants, even though they edge it; they are more a break in the wild ones. That's one of the things which make it special.

You would be surprised by the number of times I have tried to photograph this path but have failed to capture anything of its essence. This is the nearest I've managed.

In real life, the bricks have an even 'warmer' atmosphere.
