I like the colour which made me think of Christmas - rather sad (in July).

Hello Easy Gardener

I've just seen your comment on the old engine at Veg Plotting. I think you have Christmas on the mind.

Christmas, to my mind, is the best season of the year and worth thinking of about once in every five minutes.

That goes rather nicely with the red apple :)

BTW there's a known Blogger problem with the Following picture wall at the moment which is why you have a blank space at the top of your blog.

I've deleted your last comment over at Sign of the Times. I'd got one of the settings wrong, so they should go straight on there in the future...

I'd say everything is up the wall today, VP! When I look at the followers space - they are all there.

It might be an idea to remove the whole of our conversation on your blog from this morning. Now the issues are sorted, it doesn't make sense. My intention was to be helpful, not to leave a lasting record!

Clever idea, Lucy.

Love the picture, hate washing. Especially when it's not neatly folded.

Hello Weaver of Grass.

I'm glad you've left a comment because this may be a way to let you know I have been having trouble leaving comments on your blog recently.

I expect it will pass. I find my computer or blogger or something takes against sites for a while, then, all of a sudden, it's ok again.

I'm still coming by and reading from time to time though.

Easy Gardener, VP and Victoria - I don't know if you already know of Weaver of Grass's blog but you to might like to take a look - I think you'd probably enjoy it too.

Hello Victoria.

I like washing because it is one of the easiest of household tasks if you have an automatic machine (which I do - though I miss twin tubs). You just bung in grubby clothes, the machine works away for a bit - then you come back and take them out clean. Amazing!

And there's nothing more cheerful than the sight of washing on a line. Sometimes, it's a bit deflating if it rains on it - but then it comes in smelling so good, it's worth the wait.
