Looks lovely and cool. We have some woods in Frome just like that.
I love these woods, Hermes, and walk through them a lot.Are the woods you mention in Frome easily accessible from the town on foot?Lucy
Hi Lucy,no. You need to drive out to Great Elm and park near the bridge over the stream down by the Music Centre. Lovely walks though.
I like this a lot!! Looks like a great place to run into and get lost.Really cool photo!
Cracking picture in composition and light. Could be a competition entry.
Hello Dot.These woods aren't extensive, being long and narrow. So you couldn't get really get lost in them - but you feel as if you could and, I agree, that is a really nice feeling.Lots to look at there and the light is nearly always interesting.Lucy
Gordon - I'm bowled over that you like this one. (Sure you're not joking?)Lucy
I really like the play of shadow against light in this one. Beautiful bright greens too.
That photo makes me just want to be there, standing in the dappled shade.
Hello Oz Girl.I thought of you when I posted this because it is so different from the countryside of Kansas!Lucy
Hello Happy Mouffetard. I find I can look into this picture and imagine I am standing there below the trees.Lucy
Reminds me of my childhood days. Lovely!
