I love your tree shot! :) I was just doing the same a few days, taking some shots looking up into some of our trees. And by the way, I am following your blog for the same reason -- I love to see the similarities and differences you may experience living in the U.K. Have a wonderful day!
Lucy: I just dropped by via Oz Girl's blog. You take some wonderful pictures! I am really enjoying the detail shots, something I find myself taking more and more.

Thanks Robert.
I like looking upwards. It cuts out extraneous detail.

Hope your day goes well too, Oz Girl.
By the way . . . how did you come across PICTURES JUST PICTURES? It's interesting to know the routes people take to get here.

Thank you, Suzy.
Really glad you like PICTURES JUST PICTURES.
It's interesting how, the closer you look at one thing, the more there is in it to look at within it - and to photograph as well.

I enjoy the warm glow on the tree. I see that in my garden frequently in wintertime afternoons. I think it is special.
It's wonderful, that winter afternoon light, isn't it, Barbee!
And I like the way you knew it was the afternoon when I took the photo!
