Lucy,I like this idea & your photographs - thanks for steering me into your Pictures Just Pictures blog.B.
Thanks for coming to take a look at PICTURES JUST PICTURES Barbara.I'm glad you like the photos here.I'm also glad you found them. No sooner than I tell people I'm here than something goes wrong with the RSS feeds and I disappear from people's lists. Brilliant!Just been looking at your blog - especially enjoying the sculptures.Lucy
I like that - very tactile - want to reach out and stroke it. I'd love a garden big enough for proper sized trees. So many have wonderful bark.
Easy Gardener - when I was a child, I used to try to chip bits of bark off trees like this - it's exactly as you say . . . the lure of the tactile.I wouldn't pick the bark from living trees nowadays (!) but if I find bits lieing around, I still like to pick them up - I know what it's like . . . like snapping a KitKat!By the way - I didn't take this photograph in my garden. I too would like one big enough to be housing huge and mature trees . . . but . . . unfortunately . . . (!)Lucy
It looks like a moonscape - very interesting.
Interesting you say that, Happy Mouffetard - it reminds me of Mars.
