I have mixed feelings about this flower because, although it is, indeed, a delight to see, it is of a kind which shouldn't start to flower until early summer. It's got in a muddle. Hence 'unseasonable'. When I took the photo, there was already frost around it. I doubt if, when I go back, it will have survived.

Hello Johnny Nutcase
I'm glad you like the winter flower. I'm glad, too, to have found your lovely blog.

You thus prove that not all flower monos are a waste of time. Good one.
Phew!
I was waiting for a polite silence from you today, Aileni!
Glad you like the Unseasonal Flower after all. It seemed right for Christmas.

A delight to see at this time of the year.

I like the dark and enigmatic feel of your photo. Happy New Year.
That has come out well against the very dark background
The contrast here is so striking. It is as though we are viewing the negative of the image. The Ying to the Yang.
Health and happiness to you and yours during 2010.
Nice, Lucy. Very unique.
Interesting picture. It's so nice to see creativity at work. Very nicely done.
Nicely done and great to see a warm weather flower on such a cold day!
