I'm surprised, too, that such telegraph poles are still in use. It's the tallest one I know and is in the centre of some roughish ground, with the wires leading out to the houses in a kind of square around it.
Wow this is the first time to see one! Joining this meme it has open my eyes to a different world!!! Perfect Shot! Here is "My Monochrome♥"<--Hope you like it☺ Happy☺Monochrome☺Day!

That has even more cables than the one behind our house. Should never fall over.

I have one ahead of my house full with birds:-) Is gud to take pictures.
I love it!
At first I thought it was a huge insect!
I hope someone has the overview over all that cables. It would have been a mess if that someone was me, lol ;) Cool.
I like this one. The wires that go out in a whell fashion- so thin and delicate against the rough wood make for a nice composition.
You'd think by now there could be a better way. Reminded me of a strange Maypole.
I got the signal loud and clear.
Great shot and perspective.
Very nice look up shot!
Upwards and great. Love the perspective.
Good shot!

A telegraph pole never looked so good...well done.
Very nice. Like a cobweb in the sky.
That is quite a climb - hope they don't have to do it in the winter! Great shot.
