We are entering my favourite time of year - colder, rainier, breezier, lighter where the remaining sun can get through the less-leafy branches of trees and with stronger, fresher smells.
The autumns where I live are rather brown and dull compared to those experienced by many . . . but I love them none the less . . . fallen leaves decaying 'n all!
It's hard to be disciplined over photos of leaves. One could churn them out day after day with every one a different colour, shape and texture . . . I find it hard not to collect the leaves themselves and take them all home!

There is plenty of beauty left even as the fallen leaves decay.
Captures Autumn just right.
Hello Lucy,
I love the different colors and shapes.
