I need to take a trip there soon. After watching the Ryder Cup last weekend, I could go tomorrow.

Hello Luis and Faye and Hermes and Nat and Chuck. Glad you like the photograph of Henry Vlll's castle and the rocks below. It was used as a mint and a defence - there's a matching castle opposite in the curve of the bay. How long it will stay up there . . . big question! There's a big chunk of wall and lots of stones fallen from it on the shore below.

Chuck - this is England. The Ryder Cup was in Wales! I know what you mean though and if ever you do come to these countries - feel free to get in touch. (One advantage of Dorset is that it is west enough to have rain, east enough not to have too much and south enough to be one of the warmest parts of Britain.)
