OVERLAPPING BLACKCURRANT LEAVES


It's probably worth mentioning this is not an arrangement or collage of leaves. These leaves are still on their bush.

I've now added a note to the picture to say I photographed these leaves on their bush. I didn't arrange them like this, it is simply how they are. Of course, they won't stay like this for long but, while they hold so many shades of autumn all next to each other . . .

Autumn colours are a joy. Amazing how many colours can appear together on one leaf...and the effect is magnified over a whole tree or bush

This makes me long for the black currant bushes I used to have. It's a beautiful shot. I had to dig up the bushes because they were so infested with borers. Darn.
