Great perspective...I feel like I'm going to bump my head on that concrete if I go any further :)

Gorgeous image!

Love the diminishing perspective, and the way the exposure blows out the details on the edges and keeps everything nice and simple. Nice shot.

Lucy, thanks for your comments! I've almost disappeared under the work mountain, hence the long pause. Your photos here are as great as ever.
I'm impressed you identified the waders - I also don't understand what they did up there. I think they were just young...

Looks like a nice place to sit, relax, and ponder.

This is a neat perspective. I like the lines created by the bridge and the color of the water.

Bridges and water are fascinating!

Hello Hermes.

I've stood in this place several times and have tried to take this photo but never, until this one, have they been satisfactory. The angles are a challenge.

Thank you, Faye. One thing I enjoy with photography is precisely, to find beauty in the ugly - and I think you'd find this place incredibly ugly if you were standing there in person.

Hello Nat.

If you went further, you might not bump your head . . . but you might drown! When the large stretch of water to the left is being sucked through this narrow channel as the tide goes out, the current is strong on its way to the sea.

Thanks Helen.

I like to light-out irrelevant elements in a picture so its focus is on the reason for taking it.

Marka - I'm absolutely certain, if you saw the area under your bridge, you would not want to sit there! It's cold and dreary and a bit eery. Glad you like the picture though.

Hello T. Becque.

I like lines and I like water and this is the kind of photo which allows me to combine both!
