What a great blog! I loved looking at all your photos. Very creative.
Thanks for the comment on the 'rails'. Saw your shot of W Stn. rails; I have one I'll have to put up sometime taken from the platform. Light snow again today.
Hello Amy - and thanks.

Hello John.
When you post your Wokingham Station photo, I'd be glad if you let me know. I look out for your posts but don't catch them everyday and lots of things get missed. (That's the penalty for following too many blogs!)
By chance, I've just had a phone call from someone in Wokingham who is trudging home from Morrisons in the sleet. Sounds wonderful!

Not a new rose. I wonder what colour its flower is.
Hello Mo. It's a Rambling Rector. In early summer it is covered with large clusters of small white roses with a fantastic scent which can be smelled up the street. Its thorns are lethal and it grows very fast and vigourously - this stem is not as old as it looks. Four years? I think the Rambling Rector must have been the prototype for the forest which grew up around the Sleepin Beauty.

Snow White, beware!
Hello Valerie.
Everyone beware, I'd say!
I'm wondering if you are familiar with these roses. The flowers are lovely but the thorns so terrible my flesh tingles just to look at them.

Vey interesting... I can see the "wink". :)
Hello Oz Girl.
I think this rose stem looks like a parrot.

will take you to another trunk that looks like an odd face - only sort of E.T.ish.
