I'm hoping there will be colour outside in spring too but am a bit apprehensive that flowers in pots will do better than those in the ground this year. We had weeks and weeks of rain in the autumn and I guess some bulbs will have rotted. Then the ground froze sold. Not a good sequence.

New life, beautiful, love the green against the black background
Hello Moira.
I find the colour of these shoots very refreshing and, while they seem very elegant to me, they also remind me of penguins.

What are these? These are beauitful! Love this!
Hello Cindi.
They are nothing more exotic than daffodils emerging from bulb fibre - but they are lovely, aren't they?

Those bulb new shoots will give you a nice bright colour later. Its fun to be able to observe them growing like this in pots.
What a great shot, Lucy! I haven't tried growing daffodils but love to next spring.
Thanks for the visit

Hello Eden.
I don't know how easily daffodils grow in the Philipines but here, in Dorset, they do well and there are lots of varieties to chose from.
