Ah, beautiful shot Lucy! I just love the bales with the green grass and the water puddles... at first, I thought the puddles were snow! But then I realized it was water. I hope we start greening up here in Kansas in the next month or so. I sure miss the green! :)

I think I prefer white crispy snow to puddles but to have one you need to suffer the other - doesn't make the transition any easier though.

Hello Oz Girl.

I too like the way the grass is growing on the bales - much more interesting than when the bales are new.

Plenty of grass will come where you are!

Hello Easy Gardener.

I once heard a programme on the radio about how water is like energy, it doesn't go away. Although it changes its form, it stays within the 'system'. This means we drink the same water as dinosaurs. For that matter, we drink water pee-ed by dinasaurs. And here . . . well, this particular puddle was there before the snow but I expect there's a snow puddle there now. I'll be back in just over a week - then I'll find out.
