I wouldn't have thought a black and white picture of a leaf would be so interesting. I love how it looks translucent and each vein is so clear. I'm not sure it would be so vivid in color.
Very nice.
Hello Debbie. I like black and white photographs a lot. Often they cut right through to 'the real thing' in a way colour can't.
Glad you find it interesting too.
Lucy
A big fan of B&W ... a great shot, Lucy!
Thanks Joey.
Lucy
Nice B&W. You done it well. Good contrast and sarp image:-)
Blesses.
Lovely image, you know I love B&W. It brings out the texture where Colour masks it. Gary
Thanks Robert. I've been hoping people who have been following this blog for a while haven't got fed up with vine leaves. I keep photographing them. I'm hooked! (They'll keep coming!)
Lucy
Gary - you know the saying 'pictures are better on the radio'?
Sometimes, I think one might say 'colours are better in black and white' . . . but in this particular photo - they really do seem to have disappeared completely.
Lucy
Lovely!
I agree with Debbie and your reply. The contrast is just right.
I love B/W pictures and yours is fantastic with the contrast and texture!
Ohh... now I have almost for the first time seen mostly of your pctures, and i must say that this lady is imressed :-)))
Hello Della and Hermes and Angelika
I'm glad you like the (latest!) photo of a vine leaf. I think the sky plays as much a part in this photo as the leaves themselves. It's apparent absence is crucial to the pattern.
If I could, I would have a dress made with a print based on this photo!
Lucy
Hello Anne.
I'm so pleased you came back to look at more of the photos on PICTURES JUST PICTURES and that you like them. I value your opinion.
Lucy

I'm glad you like the Vine Leaf in black and white.
I'm planning to do black and white more often. One gets out of the habit from time to time . . . but I'm getting back into it!
Lucy
Thanks Sammy. I'm glad you like Marc Harmel's work.
And as for following . . . it will be interesting to see what you do, as you do it!
