Lucy Corrander said...: Hello Janet. It's the corner and the way the bricks stick out to cast shadows which makes me like this wall. I have tried to photograph it on several occasions but the colour has never come out right before. Glad you like it too.

Although I find this an interesting wall, it is simply a barrier between a car-park and the washing line area for a housing association estate.

I had thought of naming it 'Stretcher Bond' but thought people might think that is the name of the way the corner has been done to cope with an angle rather than the perfectly ordinary and basic arrangement of the bricks.
