It'll be frustrating if I pass that way again and find the keys gone. Will their owner have come back for them? Or a burglar have taken them and used them?
Perhaps I should have hung a notice there saying 'Let me know what happens!'.
Its like those gloves or babies hats hung on peoples gates, were they ever recovered ? Great picture. I always wondered how they make the top of those particular security fences.
Hermes - I think it's daft the way people hang gloves and hats on walls and railings (and keys!) - it more or less means they will never be found. If you re-trace your steps, looking for something you've lost, you keep your eyes to the ground, scanning the places where you might have dropped them.
