A plant I really like (especially 'Lucifer') but never thought of it like this. Great photo.

Crocosmia is one of the few bright plants I truly enjoy. (I have no idea what variety this is - just an ordinary orange that came in from the wild.)

Crocosmia is invasive in my garden, and this is the only thing that I don't like about this plant. It's beautiful and its beauty shown in your picture.

Hello Bentonflocke.

I hope you have a good weekend too.

Here it is lovely - sunny and cool with a slight breeze. Perfect for being outside in.

Hi Elk - and there are so many more shadows which would look good if only they fell on flatter or more interesting surfaces!

Tatyana - My soil is so poor even weeds have trouble invading!

I like this! It actually looks like giant blades of grass, way taller than us, that we could get lost in. Sounds silly, I'm sure, but that's the first thing I thought of.

Great photo and I hope you have a great rest of your weekend!

Dot - isn't it interesting how seeing something out of context can give a completely wrong (and sometimes more interesting!) impression of size?

If the crocosmia leaves were above our heads (instead of thigh high) they would make a wonderful film set kind of jungle to walk through and, apart from their cutting edges, it would be rather dramatic and fun!
