Beautiful picture, but angle is the trick. It makes all the difference to the objects in the photo, from many angles. Congrats for being a contender for POTD at David's.
I've taken my computer back to its factory settings and, suddenly, I am able to flit around blogs again - and reply to comments more easily. (It's been taking a minute to load each page recently which has slowed things down tremendously and temporarily took much of the enjoyment out of blogging too.)
So . . . now I'm catching up!
(Probably won't quite manage it; apologies!)
Robert, Angelika, Dot and Suzi - so pleased you liked 'Houses and Leaves'. It's a sparse picture but I enjoy deep colours and geometric 'designs'.
Elk - vivid is the word. Sometimes the skies where I live are almost overwhelming in their blueness. I haven't lived in Dorset all my life and am still startled by them.

That really works. Hope you have some sun today, really overcast here.
Overcast here, too, Hermes. A completely white sky. It's quite warm though - and not raining.
One of the nice things about doing this blog is that it has made me resalise we have more blue-sky and sunny days than I had previously thought.

I love the angle and the framing...
great point of view and a wonderful shot!
Wish you a wonderful weekend!
Very cool angle for this shot! The sky is so crisp and blue too.
Thanks for the explanation! I was wondering what the "c" was all about!!
Neat shot Lucy - I feel like I am lying on the grass looking up at the sky.
Great angle on that shot. I've enjoyed looking at your earlier work, too.
Thanks for your visit and comment.
so vivid!
I like the photo very much! Congrats on POTD mention!
Found you via david mcmahon's blog and so glad!
Fantastic angle that speaks to me.

Thank you for visiting and for choosing 'Houses and Leaves' as one of your 'Posts of the Day'. A much appreciated surprise!
