That is the first thing that struck me too, how the sky is slightly blue/lavender, very pretty picture, Oh and your comment on my enchilada made me laugh out loud... it would have been a more appetizing photo had I taken it when it came out of the oven all hot and melty (beef and cheese inside a flour tortilla with cheese on top); it's a mexican dish.
No filters (haven't got any!). It was just that the sky was so heavy and dense that the light wasn't getting through properly and the snow and the clouds were uniform in colour.
It was that light which made me want to take this particular picture.
I expect being close to the sea is also part of it. Tomorrow's photo was taken a couple of minutes later, from the top of the slope so the sea comes into view . . .

Did you use a filter Lucy or is that natural light ? Just struck by how the snow matches the sky. Very effective.
