Are you still taking these on your camera phone? Great photos... keep 'em coming...
Hi Guyz.
All the photos on this blog have been taken on my camera phone. Trouble is, I dropped it down the loo the other day and I've almost run out of pictures to show.
I've been trying to buy a replacement but the one I use is no longer made and others I've tried haven't lived up to what I need. (I've left a trail of bemused shop assistants who insist newer phones are better but . . . Some have been very kind . . . Two young men went to the trouble of explaining which buttons to press if I were to take a photo of a plant in a night-club under strobe lighting . . . worlds meet!)
Some examples from one of these phones are on LOOSE AND LEAFY:-

I like the photos I put there - but I can't justify buying a phone for the sake of only one of its camera settings.
But . . . one of the kind I've been using for my blogs is on its way from ebay. I'm on tenterhooks . . . !
Lucy
I think this is one of your best! It's the shadows that add to the content: handle of a spade? And the idea of a rod and a brush together from a line of poetry: excellent.
Looking forward to the nightclub photos!!
Hello Gordon.
Thanks.
Garden Fork.
I'm wondering about clubbing etiquette. Does one bring one's own plant or are they provided?

Well, spring is almost here. I am not very happy that i had to expose that swindler, but it was a must. By now he has the police on his tail, You saw the later warning of Westduin hotel.
Soon i will hide the not relevant posts and i will return to peaceful shooting of bugs and birds. :)
The shadows make this a most unusual picture, Lucy - and in a strange sort of way they make it.
Neat capture!
Wonderful photo, love the play of light and shadow.
I love all of your photos and am amazed that you took them with a camera phone. You made me laugh out loud with the demise of your phone (sorry) - my wife did the same thing with a phone the day AFTER she bought it. I'm glad EBay came to the rescue and we can continue to enjoy your photographs.
Hi Richard - I continue to hope things settle down for you soon and look forward to seeing more of your wildlife photos.
Lucy
Hello Weaver of Grass.
I think this is a very peaceful picture and the shadows and the shapes help make it so.
Lucy
Thanks, John.

Hello Oz Girl.
I like shadows.
They tend to be less sentimental than reflections.

Hello Robert.
The new phone arrived today. Theoretically, it's the same as the other one but the casing is a bit different and that makes me nervous in case it isn't as good . . . I'm hoping tomorrow will be sunny enough to give it a fair try-out.
Lucy
Silly question : what was the phone doing there in the first place to be dropped into the loo ?! You don’t need to answer !!
Glad your new phone has arrived and hope it’s all ok. I, too, am amazed at the quality of photographs you have taken with it, but then it is obviously the expertise of the handler.
(BTW, the word verification is “beach”, quite appropriate I feel)
Hello Barefaced Gardener
The phone / camera goes with me everywhere . . . at least, it did!
And I really do have to lay the credit for such pictures at its feet. I chose the subject, it does the rest.
