What an amazing picture! Like a Rothko (but less depressing).

Great picture and I agree with Victoria, very reminiscent of a Rothko!

Oh no! Not Rothko!

P.S. Rothko paintings are alright as postcards or for the dustjackets of books.

Not otherwise.

Faced with a full sized Rothko in a gallery - and I think 'Why?' And 'what is the connection between the title and the content?'. (And, because I'm very badly behaved in galleries, I grin; even laugh.)

But if you removed the Rothko and projected colours like these onto the far wall of a long, white room, you wouldn't think anything, you certainly wouldn't wonder if this is 'art' . . . you'd feel all exotic and relaxed and want to wear gold sequins and sit on big floor cushions and eat turkish delight or smoked almonds - and you'd leave happy, not perplexed.

(I reckon.)

L.

P.P.S.

Except I wouldn't mind selling this photo for the same price as one of Rothko's paintings!

Gordon.

I'm not sure an appealing photo of mistakenly mixed washed washing is within my range!

Hello Philip

This photo is of the legs of Ceres' trousers. I won't tell her know you thought they are a rag!
