Also have bug. Have lost voice. Thank goodness for blogging (and texting, and emails)! Have a wonderful Christmas, and an even better new year.

Hope you are feeling better. My husband and I have both had a bug so I can sympathize.

I like the new format, one picture per page works really well.

Feel better soonest!

Hello Everyone

I hope you have all had a wonderful Christmas (despite bugs). Almost everyone in England seems to have been smitten with something over the last few weeks.

And I hope we are all heading towards an equally fantastic New Year Celebration (or a much better one if Christmas itself wasn't too good!).

I got off quite lightly compared with others but I'm supposed to be taking anti-biotics against which my system keeps rebelling . . . and my brain is still muzzy . . . and I'm getting tinges of sciatica . . . and generally feel decrepit and slow.

Therefore, although I'll be posting photos, that's about all I'll be doing for the present.

BUT . . . I'll be catching up on all your comments here and reading up on all your blogs (and more!)later on - and plan to swing back into more active action around 19th January.

In some ways, I'm quite enjoying the gap. It's giving me an opportunity to think about things. In fact, I'm having a very creative and seasonal time with lots of silence and sitting in bed with hot-water bottles and being with family instead of laptop.

Best wishes . . . keep commenting . . . I'll be taking account of everything you say and look forward to chatting properly after the 19th.

Lucy
