I see you have the same problem down your way as Nige and I have - boo!

Hello VP - Yes.

I'm brewing a LOOSE AND LEAFY post about it for Monday or Tuesday this coming week.

(8th /9th December 208)

Interesting, Lucy. Round here flails are going madly round the hedgerows, indiscriminately hacking of branches in a savage sort of way. You have managed to take a photograph where the result looks very interesting. Well done.

Thank you, Weaver of Grass.

It's interesting that the flails are active round your way at present.

This hedge was flailed in September. I took the photograph on 19th November - and I've been looking to see what has been happening to the same hedgerows more recently too . . .

On Tuesday of this coming week (9th December 2008) I'll be posting a photo I took yesterday.

I don't usually make any connection between the two blogs but, as I mentioned to VP, I'm planning a post on flailing for LOOSE AND LEAFY - and it would be interesting if you were to comment from your experience and observations when I do.

VP and Weaver of Grass - I decided to do the flailed post early because I will be busy this week.

So, it's there already - 7th December.
