Just recovering from a trip to Tesco's in Trowbridge. Not even December yet - and already a war zone. Lovely shot you captured its power and grace.

I like the shapes created by this shot.

Hermes - Went into Weymouth this morning. Hardly anyone in the shops.

And how's this for going to Taunton today (Not me travelling, working out the route for someone else . . . rail repairs in process) . . . Weymouth-Bournemouth - Train. Bournemouth-Southampton - Bus. Southampton-Westbury - Train. Westbury-Castle-Cary - Train. Castle-Cary-Taunton - bus. I'm surprised they couldn't have fitted in Edinburgh en-route. (Constant drizzle too. And cold.

P.S. Glad you like the crane photo!

Hello Weaver of Grass - I think it was also variations on the them of colour that caught my eye.

Oh - I've got the wrong mail box open so I'm appearing as 'Collected Mail' but it is me.

The word verification is 'agony'!

Gorgeous blues! Can't possibly be England in November can it?

Hi Mo.

Indeed it is!

I took this photo of the crane on the 19th November - and was so surprised by the nature of the day that I rushed around taking lots of photos!

2008 has been odd like this. Many days have swung around between incredibly blue skies and blank white ones - a lot of rain through the summer and a lot of drizzle now.

I'm pleased I decided to start this blog - otherwise I would have thought the whole year had been a washout - when, clearly, it hasn't!
